Where do you cover?
Our coverage range is based on two zones.
Zone 1 includes 25 miles from our storage facility and includes locations such as Haverhill, Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Ipswich, Hadleigh, Sudbury, Chelmsford, Witham, Clacton-on-Sea, Felixstowe and more.
Zone 2 is available for Simply Store to collect and return your items, but a flat 30% fee will be applied to our prices to allow for the increase in range. Includes locations such as Cambridge, Brandon, Lakenheath, Framlingham, Aldeburgh, Southwold, Diss, Mildenhall, Saffron Walden and more.
Outside of these zones: We do not currently offer our Simply Store service to these locations, but we are expanding our network, you can contact us directly to discuss your requirements if you are outside of our zones.
What is the minimum I can store?
You can store any item or quantity of items as we price based on the volume of the item.
What is the maximum I can store?
We will provide rates to store any item, size or volume.
I don’t see an image of what I want to store, does that mean you don’t store it?
Images are indicative of our prices based on the volume. We will consider any item size, or volume of items.
How do I calculate the cost?
You can type in your volume on our price page or just send an email to info@simplystore.com we will come back to you with a quotation.
One collection and one delivery included in the price?
We include one free collection of your items and one free delivery to the area we collected from.
Can I have delivery other than where my stuff was collected from?
Sure, we deliver to anywhere in the UK or you can use our international service for delivery -well anywhere. Additional costs will apply.
What is the minimum Storage time?
Our initial price includes storage from up to 12 weeks. You can arrange delivery any time before or after this.
Can I return an item to store after I use it?
Sure, if you have an item delivered and you want to store it again there will be a new contract for storage.
How long is the initial storage contract?
Our initial contract includes Storage for 12 weeks. After that we invoice you on a monthly basis until you want the items returned to you.
Will I get a refund if I do not use a complete month of storage after the initial contract?
Absolutely. After the initial 12 week period we charge by the week so if you come out mid-way we will refund the difference.
Do you collect from any floor in my house?
We collect and deliver from the ground and first floor. For collection and delivery from additional floors, please contact us.
Can you pack my stuff?
Yes we can offer a full packing and removal service at additional cost.
I want to pack my stuff, do you supply packing materials?
We can supply packing materials for collection or send them out to you for additional costs
What things can I and cannot store?
Considered “inherently dangerous,” these include gasoline, compressed gas, propane tanks, kerosene, lamp and motor oil, acid, grease, corrosives, fertilizer, paint, cleaners, chemicals, narcotics, or hazardous, toxic or biological waste. Asbestos or products containing asbestos are not allowed. You also cannot store fireworks, explosives, weapons or ammunition.

Perishable Food and Animal Products
Canned foods can be stored, but perishable food products such as cereals, fresh produce or meats are not allowed. These may spoil or attract pests.
Miscellaneous Prohibited Items
Any animals or plants - alive or dead - cannot be stored. Nor can any stolen items.

With traditional self storage you have pay to hire a van if you are licensed to do so, bully or beg friends and family to help load the van, drive to the self store depot and unload, often walking long distances and even upstairs to eventually reach your hired room. Then you have to return the van. Don’t forget that you have to repeat this procedure in reverse when you want your effects returned.
