For college accommodation, you will usually need to check with your porters or accommodation office about access for a vehicle on collection day. Most colleges have a loading bay or designated drop-off point that we can use — it is worth confirming this when you book your collection.
For student houses, we work around whatever access you have. If parking is tight on your street, an early-morning collection usually avoids the worst of it.
Returning to Cambridge — or Moving Somewhere New

Timing: When to Book for Summer 2026
Cambridge end-of-term moves typically cluster in mid-June (Easter term end) and late June, with a second wave in mid-July for those finishing later. Collection slots fill up during these weeks. If you know your moving-out date, it is worth booking as soon as possible to secure the slot you need.
September returns are similarly busy, with most students wanting delivery in the week before the Michaelmas term starts. Again, booking the return in advance means you get the date you want rather than having to flex around what is available.
